2005-2009

Stephen developed International Franchise Infrastructure with Global Teams providing professional Operational Franchise Management, Training, and Franchise Business support for Asia/PAC Rim, Europe & Russia, the MENA region and The Americas South & Central America and Canada. He achieved YOY sales increases in comp sales and royalty revenue increases. Stephen weathered the 2007 Global Financial Crisis supporting Franchise strategy effectively achieving comp sales growth and continued development. He ended his tenure with Sbarro’s having achieved X4 international expansion operating having entered and operated in 51 countries.

MH Alshaya Kuwait

2011-2016

Stephan began his tenure with Alshaya as VP Casual Dining to Open and operate existing CD brands and at the same time open newly acquired Brands as they were added within this market segment. Initially responsible for the following brands: Sarai, Pizza Rustico, Brasseries Etoile, IHOP, Texas Road House, Gaucho Grill Including WAFI Brands Asha’s, Noodle Factory, Thai Chi. Shortly after arriving, Stephen also picked up managing the Fast-Casual division: Shake Shack, Le Pain Quotidien, Pizza Express, Potbelly Sandwiches, Z Juices. During his time he also onboarded and opened, Katsuya, Babel, Raisin Cane’s and the premium dining Veranda Restaurant in Harvey Nichols.

Sun Capital | Johnny Rockets | FAT Brands

2019-2022

Stephen joined as a senior Vice President of the Johnny Rockets International Business Reporting Directly to the CEO. He was responsible for the entire International Business to include Development and Operations and managed the Franchise Support team provided by the International Franchise Business Consultants as well as the Company NSO training teams. Stephen managed Annual budget generation, development schedules, and the Franchise relationship with all international Franchise Groups and >365 locations internationally. Spent time developing the take-home and delivery component opportunity of the business with innovative design features in many of the markets prior to the Pandemic and throughout.
